Paramibo is the capital of Suriname with a population of 280,000. It is the most ethnically and religiously diverse city in Suriname, with multiple synagogues, temples, and churches throughout the city. It is the main tourism attraction of the nation, with mainly Dutch tourists (Suriname used to be a Dutch colony), making it the ideal location for new business opportunities. From restuarants and resorts to historic museums such as Fort Zeelandia, there are countless options for entertainment and relaxation once business officials and their families relocate. More adventurous visitors also have the option to travel from Paramibo to the indiginous tribes of the Amerindians and Maroons to take tours of the villages and surroundng rainforest.
